Levator Stretch

1. Start from a standing military tuck position.
2. Stand approximately on foot from a wall or door.
3. Place your elbow against the wall or door and rest the palm of your hand on your shoulder. (Figures A and B)
4. While maintaining a straight posture, lean into the wall or door and allow your elbow to slide up while your hand slides down your back. (Figures C and D)
5. AVOID allowing your body to twist or turn.
6. AVOID allowing your elbow to move forward or backward as it slides up the wall or door.
7. Hold this position for ten seconds, then repeat on the other side.
